Hanna Nelissen
Coaching started as a side job during Hanna's pharmacy degree, but grew into her profession. The more she worked with training, nutrition and coaching, the more she wanted to understand the full picture. That led to a double master's in Human Movement Sciences and Health Food Innovation Management, specialising in sports nutrition. In that same period she was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. What used to be theory became something she has to manage every single day: the balance between nutrition, effort, recovery and performance. That's why she coaches not just from knowledge, but from experience. Today she works on her own business and as a studio lead in Den Bosch, guiding athletes from daily training to events like Hyrox and triathlons. She also teaches reformer pilates, centred on a different side of movement: control, mobility and body awareness. At Milo she's involved in the Personal Trainer Course and the Nutrition Coach course. When she's not coaching, she trains herself or digs into something new. Getting better, herself and with the people she coaches, is what drives her.
