Knowledge = Strength Podcast with Yoeri Pegel about developing yourself as a trainer

Published on:

An episode where we don't start from a statement, but start with a question: “What do I need to do to become a better trainer?” Yoeri is a Strength & Conditioning Trainer and works exclusively with athletes. He trains, among others, Badr Hari, the AFC Ajax football players and works with the Dutch basketball team. He is also a coach at MILO and guides the students during our MPT course! In this conversation, we will answer questions from you about (personal) development as a trainer and coach.

Some of the questions we addressed:

  • What are the best courses to do as an undocumented trainer?
  • What better way to start: Developing yourself as a trainer or coach?
  • When do you know enough to get started as a personal trainer?
  • What is the best way to measure progress?
  • Is training to become a PT really necessary or are you also coming there with self-study?
  • Do I have to train a lot myself to be a good trainer?
